Hi, Spirit Tribe! What’s new? A lot of change is coming up for me in the very near future and I thought I would get real with it through this blog. The fun thing about change is that it is constant and an opportunity to learn and grow. Staying in a positive energetic alignment with change can only create success and inspiration. Usually, when change is coming up it’s a result of my angels lining up my next best move. It’s important for me to remember just for today and stay present.
Some of you know that I have been off work for the last five months recovering from three foot and ankle surgeries. The first surgery was the beginning of November where I had the hardware removed from my ankle when I broke it the year before. Next, in the end of November, I had the first of two hammer toe surgeries on my right foot. Lastly, the end of December I had the hammer toe surgery on the left foot. It’s been a process for sure. A lot of pain, but mostly gain. I still hurt when I wear tennis shoes for more than a few hours, even with my not-so-fashionable, 1/2 size too big, wide New Balances. My toes are fat, reddish-purple and full of scars. I am wearing metal plated shoe inserts that are supposed to keep my toes in place, but really they make it almost impossible to fit my foot in my cute Toms and I certainly cannot wear flip-flops. But, I can walk, and for that I am grateful.
However, the gains were absolutely wonderful. The number one thing on my gratitude list for this medical leave is meeting all of you since I started my Instagram account in October last year. Your support, love, and encouragement have been absolutely wonderful. I look forward to your posts filled with positive quotes, unicorns, angel cards, and animal pictures. I wrote in a blog earlier that I have found my spirit tribe. I really believe that. I am free to be me and out of the spiritual closet so to speak.
I created and designed two websites, www.taraladue.com and www.cametobelievebook.com. I wrote about six blogs including a guest blog with www.captivatedheart.com. I wrote two online articles with Soul & Spirit Magazine as well as contributed to a feature on Archangel Ariel in their April issue. I started managing the Instagram account for my favorite kundalini yoga studio in Pasadena, the Awareness Center Yoga, @awarenesscenteryoga. I also posted angel card readings on my Instagram account almost every other day as well as angel card readings for clients all over the world. I had a professional photo shoot for my website and social media accounts by Paradise Lane Photography. All of this while maintaining my own social media presence on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, building my platform for my book, Came to Believe. Oh! I almost forgot I have written five chapters of my book! Now, I am not telling you all this to make you think I am awesome. I am telling you because I had actually been thinking that I had not done enough. I am not kidding, my ego was telling me I could have written one more blog, or written one more chapter. I could have found a few more engaging Instagram followers. I didn't like enough people’s posts. I didn’t go through my news-feeds every day. That dang ego of mine crept up on me and I didn’t appreciate it. Writing everything I accomplished the last five months in this blog, blows me away. I accomplished amazing things! And a note to self, I was recovering from three surgeries! Maybe I am awesome! haha! I manifested the crap out of my life in the last five months. And, btw, I am still manifesting and believing in miracles.
I go back to work next week. I don't know who is going to experience the biggest adjustment, me or my adorable Shih Tzu, Chester! Although I am excited to bring my passion, positive energy and Spirit Junkie vibes with me to work, I am wondering how am I going to get everything done. I need to submit my book proposal to Hay House by December. I also need to finish the book. I am still building my social media platform. There is always going to be one more thing, but what I keep reminding myself is:
1. First things first
2. Just for today
3. Easy does it
4. One step at a time
5. I am not alone
6. Ask for help
7. Write for 30 minutes a day
8. Turn things over to my Higher Power and angels
9. Stay in gratitude and be of service to others
10. Be gentle on myself
11. And my angels wouldn't give me more than I can handle, Archangel Gabriel is seeing me through writing my book.
This list is going to see me through! I am going to be just fine and I will get everything done. I accomplished so much as it is. My angels will see me through as long as I live just for today and don't tackle all my life’s problems at once. I got this! The universe and my angels have my back!
