Not only will doing what you love, fulfill your soul and life's purpose but knowing that by you doing what you love, you will inspire others is the best gift. Right? When I saw on social media how many people were following their dreams and shining in their radiant light, I became mesmerized. What was keeping me from doing the same?

I get it; there are bills to pay, children to feed and gas to buy. It is a huge risk leaving that steady paycheck that you know will be deposited every other Friday like clockwork. For some of us, that paycheck is spent before it even hits the account. Listen, I am nowhere close to leaving my paying job in the dust as I sail away into my dream job land of Social Media Coaching, Angel Card Readings, and memoir writing. What's important is I made the first step to getting there! I took a leap of faith. I believed. I believed in myself and my angels that they would guide me in the right direction.
Alison from Instagram @alison_letlovebloom said, "Angels and my loved ones in spirit have been my biggest team of helpers," in helping her to pursue her natural health and well-being practice.
It took me a while to get to the place of believing. My lack mentality had a tight grip on my heart and soul suffocating me when I thought about announcing to the world that I am an Angel Card Reader, who by the way, charges for readings. Would anyone think I was good enough? Was I even qualified to ask for money? Even after getting two certifications by Doreen Virtue, I still had a hard time charging for readings. My ego told me that there were too many Angel Card Readers. What made me any different than the other? I later learned the answer to that question was "Me!" I made me different! Not, better, just different because of my energy, my light and my special connection with the angels. Once I could get into self-acceptance and self-love, I began to put value on my spiritual trade giving me the confidence to no longer offer free readings.
Jalisa from Instagram @withintowithout said what kept her going in fulfilling her soul work was, "Having true love for myself, no matter how difficult the journey and knowing that self-love is something everyone needs to heal themselves from the inside out."
When I first got into this whole Spirit Junkie stuff, I heard Gabby Bernstein say, "There are not enough light workers in this world for the amount of light this world needs." I was like, "Really, Gabby? I am friends with probably 1000 Angel Card Readers on Instagram." When I told my ego to shut the f' up I realized, she is right. I may be Instagram friends with 1000 Angel Card Readers, but I am pretty sure the billions and trillions of people on this planet are not. That is just the tribe I choose to surround myself with. And all those lightworkers I am friends with, we are our biggest cheerleaders! There is enough to go around!
"When you shine bright, you give others permission to do the same." Gabrielle Bernstein.
That brings me to another point in believing in yourself enough to do what you love; Finding your tribe. I wrote a whole blog on #yourvibeattractsyourtribe earlier in the year. Once I started to find people through groups and social media, I was able to grow into my authentic self. I have never felt more accepted and comfortable in my skin than I do now. Do I wish it didn't take me 40 years? Ya, but it happened right when I was willing and when my angels guided me. By seeing all my fellow soul sisters and brothers and Spirit Junkie family step into their radiance, it gave me permission to follow suite. They were my trail blazers. They were the ones that allowed me to see the light in them, within me too. I only hope that I am as inspiring as they were to me, to others.
Back in July, I had a magical visit with my soul sister Carrie Stiers, a Psychic Medium who I had never met other than Instagram. She was one of my first tribe sisters, without a doubt! After she had heard me do a little chat session with Katie Brockhurst, who also has been an excellent resource for me, for Katie's Social Media Summer School and watching me give countless free advice to other spiritual entrepreneurs, she asked me "Why aren't you offering this as a service? Why don't you help other spiritual businesses with your social media skills? So many people need this service!" I mean, don't get me wrong, I had thought about it more than one time. Again, my fear and ego told me that I wasn't experienced enough, and there are already others offering this service. My soul sister encouraged me to launch my Social Media Coaching business, despite my hesitation. I am not sure I would have done it without her believing in me before I even believed in myself. I am so grateful that I did. I have had more fun connecting and serving other light workers with something that I happen to enjoy while getting paid to do it! What a miracle!
So now that we have the emotional fear and ego self-doubt talk out of the way, I want to encourage you to start small and ease into your life's purpose. Something I learned at Spirit Junkie Masterclass is that I couldn't go to my full time paying job on a daily basis with a bad attitude. And luckily for me, I happen to love my paying job too. But if you don't; try to go to work each day being of service. Have gratitude for the job that is allowing you to transition into your life's mission. It's all about the law of attraction and the power of intention and manifestation. When you breathe out high-vibes, you are opening the doors to receiving endless possibilities of abundance. So don't forget your attitude of gratitude when you walk into the doors of your employer.

Take a few clients at a time. See if you can adjust your schedule at work to allow you to fit in your life's purpose work at optimal times. It will be hard work and dedication at first working two jobs, but eventually like I plan to do, you can go part time until you can fully transition. When I work with my social media clients, do angel card readings and write my memoir, it doesn't even seem like work. It's rewarding and makes me feel good about being exactly who I am meant to be.
Also, full disclosure and maybe something you all can send me good mojo on is when I decided to think about going part time I made a list of places that I can cut down on expenses. For me, Starbucks. I quit caffeine about two years ago, but I love the taste of coffee, and I am more in love with the experience of having a drink made especially for me every day. My Starbuck's habit? $90 a month. I quit Starbucks the 1st week of June and relapsed the 4th week of June. But! I did modify my drink to make it $78 a month habit when I relapsed. Progress, not perfection. :) So think about ways that you can cut back to allow you to ease into your dream job on a part-time or full-time basis!
Good luck! I am rooting for you! Remember to pray to your Higher Power for guidance as you are transitioning. And please, if you need a spiritual accountability partner on this, I am here for you. Comment below and let's create our own "do what you love tribe!" Who's with me?
